Apphia Wang, MD FAAD
Board Certified Dermatologist and Board Certified Mohs Surgeon
Dr. Wang grew up in both Texas and Taiwan. She graduated from Rice University summa cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology, and earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX.
She completed a transitional year residency at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga/Erlanger Health System, and finished her dermatology residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Dr. Wang is an accomplished Mohs surgeon who has performed several thousand of Mohs micrographic surgery cases and reconstructive procedures. She is double board certified in Dermatology and in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Wang is a fellow member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has presented at various meetings including the Cosmetic Surgery Forum, and has authored multiple articles in journals including JAAD Case Reports, JAMA Dermatology, and the New England Journal of Medicine.
Dr. Wang speaks Mandarin, English, and Spanish. Outside of the office she enjoys biking, hiking, outdoor activities, listening to music, and spending time with animals. You may catch her riding her bike around Palm Beach County enjoying the water, palm trees, stargazing, and trying to catch a glimpse of roseate spoonbills and sandhill cranes.
Allison Wang, MD FAAD
Board Certified Dermatologist and Board Certified Mohs Surgeon
Dr. Wang grew up in both Taiwan and Texas. She graduated from Rice University cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology, and completed her medical degree along with Internal Medicine internship from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX. She completed her dermatology residency at Cook County Health, Chicago IL.
Dr. Wang is double board certified in Dermatology and in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery, and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She has presented at various meetings including the Annual American Academy of Dermatology meeting and Chicago Dermatological Society. She has authored multiple articles in journals including JAAD Case Report, International Journal of Dermatology, and Cutis. Dr. Wang speaks Mandarin, English, and Spanish. In her free time she enjoys cooking, vegetable gardening, and crafting. You may see her working in the yard, but you will not catch her without sunscreen and a broad brimmed hat.
